I would say my neatest are my Pheidole Tysoni but I don't see the right subdivisions of their group to vote.

Id say the most messy are definitely harvesters. In my experience they love to smear their garbage and excrement on the glass of the nest and completey litter the outworld.
Least messy is probably formicines in general, with lasius and camponotus in particular being very tidy. Formica is sort of a mix and depends on species, with the parasitic groups being a bit messier. They are usually pretty good though unless you have cotton for them to pull at, which they do make a huge mess of.

Well, I keep Messor barbarus and they have been described by many keepers as one of the messiest (hence the name Messor!) species out there.
In can attest that they really crap all over the place, and one has to keep on top of the cleaning, especially of glass, since they spray even up the glass.
They are Pheidolini if you are asking, I do however not see them on your list, maybe because that list is again very scewed towards the New World.
I am from Germany.
Messor are from the Mediterranian.

For me the most messy are my P. imparis, because whenever I feed them a mealworm, the cotton is partially moldy the next day. The most cleanest I’m my experience are Camponotus because they actually trash things away from their nest. By far, the most cleanest ants that I have are my F. palledifulva since they always; no matter what, trash their food away from their nest and living space (better than Camponotus I’d say).
Keeping:
3x - S. molesta
1x - C. chromaiodes
2x - F. pallidefulva
2x - C. cerasi
1x - B. depilis
2x P. imparis (colonies) 3x P. imparis queens (1x queen in test tube, 3x queens in test tube, and 6x queens in another test tube. Can't wait to see the results!)

Besides harvesters, honeypot ants are pretty messy (at least the two species I've kept...) They prefer side viewing formicarium, which makes things worse.
Camponotus fragilis is the cleanest in my collection, and their honey colored bodies look crystal clear too. Plus their fast reproduction, voracious appetite and always active; it's my favorite colony now.
