I'm moving from virginia to colorado in a couple days. And wondering what and when the nuptial flights happen there. I have been there a couple times and seen these species:

-Pogonomyrmex Occidentalis
-Pogonomyrmex Rugosus
-Pogonomyrmex Barbatus
-Tetramorium Immigrans
-Myrmecocystus Mexicanus

I heard there is carpenter ants there too.

Could anyone tell me when these ants fly or anything else about ants in colorado?

You will have a lot of Tetramorium flying in June. And based on what I've heard the Pogonomyrmex flights in CO are immense. Look for the harvester flights after a rainstorm in July and August.
