1. Collect on wall in second floor bathroom in Mendon Massachusetts.
2. Collect at dusk on June 25th.
3. I have seen other ants, (Lasius genus?) that seem similar that seem getting ready for nuptial flights in the yard.
4. About 6mm
5. Black head, thorax and gaster, no hairs seemed to be present.
6. She seemed pretty unresponsive/unaffected to being caught.
