I’ve got a (slightly ambitious) goal to keep every Opisthopsis species.

There’s 16 of them in Australia. Species marked with a star (☆) are species I especially want.

  1. Opisthopsis diademata
  2. Opisthopsis diademata dubia
  3. Opisthopsis haddoni
  4. Opisthopsis haddoni rufonigra ☆
  5. Opisthopsis jocosa ☆
  6. Opisthopsis lienosa
  7. Opisthopsis linnaei
  8. Opisthopsis major ☆
  9. Opisthopsis maura ☆
  10. Opisthopsis picta
  11. Opisthopsis picta bimaculata
  12. Opisthopsis picta lepida
  13. Opisthopsis picta palliata
  14. Opisthopsis respiciens
  15. Opisthopsis respiciens moesta

Already owned:

  1. Opisthopsis rufithorax

Some of these species aren’t imaged on AntWeb so here’s a link to a paper by Wheeler, 1918.

Thanks,

Leptomyrmx
