Just wanted to say Hello. New to ants, unless you count one of the green sand filled kits I, like many others, had as a kid in the 90's.

My current main hobby is mycology. I was interested in Pogomyrmex Californicus but I suppose I probably already missed any chance for them this year. No hard reason, Just the first one that I found fascinating and I suppose as a throwback to the old ant farm I had as a kid which I believe used those guys?

Look forward to making some friends as I learn more over the coming months.

Welcome to the forum! If you have any questions feel free to ask them. Watching colonies grow and develop under your care is certainly satisfying, like raising plants.
