Most aren't overpriced, people drive up to 3-4 hours one way to catch flights and sometimes they have to take multiple trips cause they don't fly. If they miss the flight they spend hours digging up chambers that will yield like 1 queen every 10 chambers. Then they get home and have to deal with the usual abysmal founding rates that have only recently started improving due to new founding techniques. It adds up to hundreds of dollars in gas, and hours and hours of work.

Wow, I don't think I'll be able to drop that kind of money😅I can offer 800 worker colony for 800, that averages to $1 per ant with free nest
Why buy them then. Just cruise out to the desert and pick some up. Maybe after spending 600 dollars in gas you might have one or two.
Yea I probably wasn't looking in the right spot when I was searching for them, do you guys have any suggestions on where to find them? Why buy them then. Just cruise out to the desert and pick some up. Maybe after spending 600 dollars in gas you might have one or two.
