While at work this evening, this lady landed on my arm and I brought her home and set up a tube for her. I used an app I have on my phone and took a photo and it said that she's a "Ghost Ant" or "Sugar Ant", but wanted to post here just to be sure.

Appears to be a Colobopsis species, a picture of her side profile will help a lot.

Colobopsis impressa. As noted by the multiple light colored bands on the gaster. obliqua have very few.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
