welp judging by your location i'd say just go black lighting every night and look around at aroud 8:30-10:00 each night when you get a chance. so far I'm finding tons of B. patagonicus but i'm sure if you look at Dspdrews ant mating chart you'll find something.

can i go blacklighting with a regular black reptile bulb  ?

that might be a stupid question but i genuinely don't know

Black bulbs emit infrared and you need uv for black lighting. uv flashlights are thankfully quite cheap.
