Anyone have recommendations for me on Solenopsis Invicata diets? A queens are fully gestural and what early week diets do you recommend for starting them on. Thinking crushed mealworms

Crushed mealworms are great I mean anything goes when it comes to invicta. They eat anything and everything.

Invicta don’t care, they will eat literally anything after the founding stage. They are some of the least picky ants out there.

Are they fully claustral? (miss spelled as gasterial above lol)

 

and during the founding stages any suggestions?

Are they fully claustral? (miss spelled as gasterial above lol)
 
and during the founding stages any suggestions?

yes, they are fully claustral, just leave her alone in a dark place and check once every 1-2 weeks. You can give her some honey or sugar water as a boost, but only do it once and it isn’t at all necessary.
