I found my Pogonomyrmex doing something special. Wearing a seed on their head. This Pogonomyrmex worker is literally walking around with a chia seed stuck to her head.

My Pogonomyrmex can be very dumb sometimes even to the point of jumping into honey, but also very smart because once a worker was collecting some seeds so she picked them up and yeeted them down the nest entrance and did that a couple other times.

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

My Pogonomyrmex figured out how to throw seeds down the nest entrance as well, it's really fun to watch.
