   I would like to know what I could use to clean my ant keeping stuff, (Habitats, test tubes, tubing, etc.) I would also like any other tips or info on these species, like hibernation, favorite foods, and more. Thanks in advance. P.S. Idk if this is how you make a post on the form so hope this works lol.

 

Edit: I live in California, Murrieta, it has gotten kinda cold here lately but it is usually pretty hot. I chose Camponotus Anthrax, thanks for the help!

Knowing what state you're in would be very helpful. Otherwise we have no clue what's native to your area.

I think Camponotus would be good if those are really the only 3 ants you have access too. They grow slowly but are hardy. I don't know what Anthrax is. Well according to google
 Anthrax is a serious illness so that doesn't sound good. To clean your things use water. Hibernation depends on where you are.

Also, honeypots are definitely not a beginners species. Go with camponotus.

     I have been given the chance to own my own colony of ants but I don't know which ones to chose. I can chose from a couple of Anthrax, Camponotus, and Honey Pot Ants. Which species is a good one for new ant keepers and what do I need to care for them? Assuming you mean Camponotus anthrax, I would recommend them as they are apparently quite easy to keep.
