let me guess they said big black ant lol

nope. they name formica fusca and formica rufa, not to mention some atta species

Ant Plants: Hydnophytum Puffii (with flowers!)

Ants I Want: Crematogaster sp., Camponotus Sp., Ponera Pennsylvanica, Mymercocystus sp.

No it was actually kinda accurate with all the ants just the functions of the nest and everyday life weren’t on point.
