So I was looking for an umbratus colony in my backyard because I’ve seen them before that or americanus but I stumbled upon a little dirt hill which wasn’t there this morning so I dug a little big and it smelled like citronella so I thought oh Lasius interjectus then I found a Queen matter of fact 4 queens and stuck them in a test tube with around 30 workers so what species is? 9CDC5CFB-B616-425C-8C5A-916E1E18EFF2.jpeg F8BA517F-C679-4DA7-9140-16069DD00F23.jpeg 08AF1A12-9609-4C22-8FC0-D30A8859DFEA.jpeg E68C20C2-F9EE-4233-8185-9A9323D0CE08.jpeg

i think you would want to find host workers such as L. americanus and L. neoniger. brood would be helpful as well.
