Caught near tree on the mulch bed, can someone help me identify what ant and if i caught a queen?

Ants I have:
1 Formica fusca group- 0 workers
1 Tetramorium immigrans colony-20 workers
1 Dorymyrmex insanus- 1 queen, used to have workers
1 large P. occidentalis colony- around 50 workers, plenty of brood

Camponotus castaneus major worker.
Your best bet for finding queens in our area now would be heading out in the afternoons to look for Crematogaster or Lasius queens. I bet something will fly today with the heat and humidity. Check out the Virginia Queen Watch thread on here for info.

Keep in mind that Stigmatomma are very hard to keep. They require some special care. Also, Stigmatomma queens generally stand still and wait for the males to come to them rather than flying themselves. Look for them sitting on elevated areas but only catch them if they are mating or you have watched them mate, otherwise they may not have mated yet if they are still sitting there waiting. I would look for someone on the forum who has kept them. I learned this from a thread on here about breeding them in captivity.
