1. Location of collection: Trabuco Canyon, California.
2. Date of collection:  4-29-2015.
3. Habitat of collection:  Chaparral, oak forest.
4. Length (from head to gaster):  4 mm.
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:  Brown head, orange thorax, and brown gaster.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Long legs. Relatively large head and small eyes for a male. The elbows of the antennae are not very male-like.

Ah yes. I think you might be right. Probably Nylanderia vividula.

Good guess Alza.  I was going to say the same. I have not kept a Nylanderia male from previous flights, but I have seen them and they look a lot like this.
