I have no idea what this is, thought I'd post it on here. This was on the side of my house, I saw it when I was outside eating lunch. Those are average size bricks, to give a size reference. I don't really need to no what it is, but it would be interesting...

These are not assassin bugs and at more related to milk weed bugs. They feed on plant fluids and seeds.

do you happen to have a pic of its mouth parts? it would be an assassin bug if it has a long snoutish thingy.

This is old and we have established what it is. I have them here and they are not assassin bugs. They feed on oils in seeds and plant fluids.
