Awesome! I always wanted to go to Mexico. Sounds cool! Will your mission take you anywhere else?

No, I will be staying in Mexico City as missionaries have a range where we can go, but I am super stoked to see lots of Atta when they fly!!

Cool. What is your mission in Mexico?

My mission is to serve and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we can serve missions if desired when we turn 18-19.

You don’t have to catch everything to appreciate and enjoy it. That’s what it means to be a naturalist.

And that's what iNaturalist is for!

Some of my cousins have gone on missions, in Taiwan, and I believe a country in Central America. I wish you good luck!

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Oh nice! I’m a believer myself, and my Dad is actually a pastor. Good luck, and may you be able to bring many people to Christ :) And thank you for serving God in that way.

Though I am not a Christian. I am in another religion (which I’m not comfortable sharing online), but I still wish you best!
