How serious is the USDA on destroying organisms approved for transport after the expiration date? Have any of you had to deal with this?

How serious is the USDA on destroying organisms approved for transport after the expiration date? Have any of you had to deal with this?

Very serious. If you renew the permit you can keep it going for a long while.

Do you mean I would have to renew the permit once every four years, or it cannot be renewed again after four years?

You'd have to renew the permit every four years.

Ok, that’s good. I wouldn’t like to renew it every month or so just to keep them.

Just make sure you don't apply for an invasive species. They will NOT grant a permit for invasives.

You are correct, I rarely sell invasives. I don't trust the public with them...  :lol:

Ok, then all you have to do is get the permit, and you’re good!

I do believe there is a fee to apply, though.

Interesting... Last I heard there was a $50 fee... Glad to see its free now.
