Aspirator recommendations?

as the title sais can anny one recommend a good aspirator and a decent price???or even a diy option if there is such a thing....

I made one out of a pill bottle, some tubes, and some mesh. They're really easy to make. I often wear mine around my neck, and people probably think I look really suspicious because I have a 'pill bottle necklace' around my neck...

I would personally recommend a handheld vacuum instead of an aspirator. It's much more effective at catching large amounts of ants.

Bioquip makes a good cheap manual aspirator: https://www.bioquip....2700&prodtype=1 However, I went to walmart and got a $15 black and decker portable hand vacuum, and that works good enough for me for collecting colonies.

Just use a corked tube and poke two bent tubes into the cork.

Make sure if you get the Bioquip one to also get some sort of filter to put inline. Personally I just get a VW fuel filter although you can spring for the more expensive HEPA type they sell.
