Please follow proper ID format.  We need a picture to ID this queen, as well as background info.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Just from the text alone, I'd say if it had wings, was under a rock with a colony preparing to fly that it is unmated and will not be a good candidate for keeping. Even if it doesn't have the wings, it could be one of the main queens of the Colony, which is not advised to take unless you can collect most if not all the colony and have the sufficient formicarium and food required to take care of such a colony.
