I found this queen running around in the woods! She looks great and I did some reading on this speices and found out that they also eat dead ants and not just spooder eggos.

Other arthropod eggs (centipedes, ants, etc.) and juveniles have also been observed in nests. There's a link in Forestdragon's post about his queen.

Get a queen! They're more common than most other Proceratium species. I'm trying to find a colony of Proceratium chickasaw as well.

Proceratium californicum in the only species in cali(I think) and I have bad luck in general. For instance, I know stigmatomma is all over my back hill, just never found a single worker.

They have 30 ish workers and a ton of brood. I'm estimating about 80 brood. Most of which is pupae and larvae. They also have their first two major pupae!

This queen is still alive. She has her own earwig pair. The eggs that they produce will be her colony's food.

Her larvae have grown incredibly in size. She now has 10 medium-large larvae and 2 eggs. She's feasting on cricket legs and seeds right now.
