Yes a bit to go for large outworld, just thought a small area to feesd in may be on the horizon. Scares me feeding a colony in a test tube haha


Yeah, that's what I'm using the test tube portal for. Working out well for the moment.

Make that 19 workers. Good thing I'm moving the Pogonomyrmex colony to a new home soon. Because these gals are going to need that fallen fortress.

The colony has started their move to the fallen fortress. Don't mind the condensation on the glass. I slipped and made the water tower slosh water out. :rolleyes:

A lot less stressful for me than moving the pogonomyrmex colony. Only had one stubborn worker I had to dump out of the test tube into the foraging area.

This queen is still laying, however they only seem to have a few pupae/larvae. So they may be slowing down for diapause.

I thought this colony had stopped growing, but then I noticed two new pupae the other night. So now I'm not sure.

I tried to get a good photo of the brood pile, still a few pupae left here, and it appears the larvae are still growing.

So this queen apparently noticed my excitement (eggcitement?) over the eggs yesterday, and laid some more. I'm hoping for quite the population boom this year.

Another quick update. The queen laid some more eggs, and the Larvae are growing pretty well. I expect we'll have pupae soon.
