For sale - a colony of what I understand to be Tetramorium caespitum (per my observations under magnifying glass, this appears to be correct, but can't guarantee with 100% accuracy).  Asking $50.

Exact number of workers uncertain, but from visual inspection I might guess queen + 150-200 workers or so.  There may be more; see the photos below to give an idea of how many there are.

They are housed in a Tar Heel Ants Mini Hearth, shown in the photos.  Colony to be sold as-is, including the formicarium.  Unfortunately the outworld area got a bit discolored while I was away on vacation a few days.  But it is getting very dense, and they are probably about ready for a bigger formicarium anyway.

Only selling because I have 2 colonies of T. caespitum already.  They're all doing so well that I just don't need multiple colonies!

Looking for local pickup near San Bruno, CA (SF peninsula) only.  PM me if interested.

Thanks!

Just confirming - these were recently sold.

Zenith, thanks for the interest.  Sorry to say, but the ants + the formicarium itself were sold, so no longer available.  I'm afraid I don't have any other spare formicaria available either, but thanks for asking!
