Despite them being at five workers, I thought a foraging container would be good for them, so I placed them in one of my new "boxbox" containers.

Despite them being at five workers, I thought a foraging container would be good for them, so I placed them in one of my new "boxbox" containers.
All the workers died and I had to take her out of the boxbox foraging container. She is all alone now.
Sounds like all of mine, except the one I have now that seems to be pretty successful.

Its a shame. They are a beautiful species. its just a shame about their invasive nature.
Well that sucks.
I thought it was illegal to keep these in CA...
This is a 2015 post, I'm just saying a bunch of people scolded me for keeping S. invicta so I got rid of them. These people live very near to me, so I was wondering why they kept this species. I was told it was illegal.
