Hi everybody,
I am 17 years old boy and I'm French (I live in Paris). I started keeping ants about 2 years old after reading the trilogy of the ants from Bernard Werber (I really recommend this book for those who haven't read it yet !). After I received  a Lasius emarginatus colony from my brother but it did not survive for long (It only lasted 6 monts...  ). Then the summer that followed, I found several species and the next year I found new species again. Now I have in my possession :

6 Lasius niger colonies (2 years old)
4 Lasius emarginatus colonies (2 years old)
2 Lasius flavus colonies (6 months old)
1 Lasius umbratus  colony (6 months old)
1 Lasius fuliginosus colony (6 months old)
2 MEssor barbarus colonies (2 years old)
2 Camponotus cruentatus colonies (3 months old)
2 greek Camponotus colonies (6 months old)
1 Formica pratensis colony (6 months old)
1 Aphaenogaster subterannea colony (6 months old)
5 Tetramorium sp colonies (2 years old)
2 Myrmica sp colonies  (6 months old)
1 Pheidole pallidula colony (2 years old)
I found all these species all by myself  . I really like parasitic ants (Formica pratensis+Lasius fuliginosus+Lasius umbratus).
