Hello, I am from Folsom California, a city in Northern California. I am looking to buy a new queen ant, this will be my first ant colony, so I was thinking of purchasing 2-3 indiviudal ant queens in case one dies. I decided to choose Lasisus Neoniger for a few reasons, 1.) it is rather easy to keep and does not require much attention, 2.) It is a native species. My only problem is my area is very urbanized and has a large population so it is hard to find any ants. After a few days of looking, I decided to simply buy a few young fertilized queens, does anyone live near by (I know quite a few ant farmers live in the Bay Area), that would be willing to sell a few to me?

Edit: If no one has any, I would be willing for any easy native species to care for.

If no one is able to sell a Lasius Neoniger I would be more than happy to purchase them, if no one offers in 1-2 days I will message you.
