I read multiple posts and watched videos and didn’t see how one adds water to a test tube with a queen in it? If there are eggs I just can’t put them in a new test tube. Suggestions of what to do please. Thank you

Even if the water runs out, the cotton will still be wet for some time. Once the cotton becomes dry, you can also wet the cotton covering the mouth of the tube.

It is possible to move the queens even when there is brood, there's just the fear that the queen may consume her own eggs.

How much water did you put in your tube? Usually my tubes last me at least 6 months.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions. I filled tubes up a bit past half way. There is still water. It’s only been 2 weeks or so. Wondering for the future. If eventually there are eggs and workers etc and it says to keep them in the tube for a year how will I give them water and food without them all escaping or getting upset?

stick an outworld on the entrance, and put a feeder with food/water

For "emergency" tube transfers for queens with eggs, do a manual move. Lightly tip the queen into the fresh test tube and pick up the eggs in the old tube and put them into the new tube with a wet Q-tip or BBQ skewer. Be careful when performing a manual move.
