I am hoping someone can ID this ant for me. It is 0.750 inches long and 0.225 inches wide at the abdomen. I believe it is a queen, and probably a carpenter ant. Can someone verify this or correct me please?

1. Location: Lockport, NY

2. Date of collection: 06/12/2018

3. Habitat of collection: It was in my basement in a bucket. Old farm house located on sandy loam / gravel soil, corn fields on one side of the house, and swamp / woods on the other.

4. Length: 0.750 inches long, 0.225 inches wide at gaster (Length and width measured with a caliper)

5. Color, hue, pattern, texture: Smooth bodied, black. Has a couple of brown hued stripes on gaster (still appear black unless light catches them right).

6. Distinguishing characteristics: None known

7. Distinguishing behavior: None known

8. Nest Description: Was not found in nest

9. Nuptial Flight and time: Not known

This looks very Camponotus pennsylvanicus.

Definitely some sort of Camponotus. Its hard to tell from the lighting but i would agree with CNewton, it looks like C. pennsylvanicus.
