Hey all, I was awaken by the kids this morning that "a queen ant is in our house, dad!" So I guess they're more interested in my new hobby than they let on I'm leaning towards a solenopsis, though I don't really see a stinger (do the queens have em?) Also, sorry...not my best pictures...can try again if need be

5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Dark thorax, red & black gaster that has horizontal stripes
