Body:
1. Location of collection in my backyard at my house (Yucatan, Mexico)

2. Date of collection April 24, 2018 (after a rain)
3. Habitat of collection in a house surrounded by a lot of vegetation
4. Length 4-5mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture first one is black and the second is red
6. Distinguishing characteristics they seem like semi claustral queens, maybe Ponerinae?
7. Anything else distinctive They have difficulties climbing glass or acrylic
8. Nest description

9. Nuptial flight time and date April 24, 2018 in the afternoon (around 5pm) after a rain
10 . Post the clearest pictures possible of the top, side, and face of the ant in question, and if possible, their nest and the habitat they were collected in.

Those are some impressive eyes for Ponerines. Do you have side-view pictures?

 

I think Cryptopone and Platythyrea could be possibilities.
