So I have this nest coming

It's quite small 12x6x7 cm

It doesn't appear to have a hydration reservoir.

Will squirting water into it once a week suffice?

Got the nest today

The gypsum formicarium can sure absorb a lot of water, despite it's small size.
I squirted some 3 full syringes into it, and it's barely wet. Not sure how much more I should squirt into it
I figure I will squirt to only one corner to maintain a moisture gradient.

Should I add substrate into it? maybe dropping it into the nest entrance area
