This is my first ant journal, it is about camponotus hayatti I keep them in the fortress a tarheel ant enclosure. They have a good amount of brood and around 30 workers. They are small for camponotus but amazing. Sorry for bad pictures

Yep! As well as the nylanderia vividula. I might make a journal about them. Might. They get stressed and I don't want to invade them.

I also got my Camponotus hyatti colony from the same GAN farmer and they have the same amount of brood and workers as you do.

Nice, I am expect around 5-10 workers soon from that colony. They also have tons of repleats, almost every ant.

Sorry no picks now, I will get a better pictures soon. Anyway the colony is doing great they brought the two crickets I gave them into there chambers. They discarded it in the top chambers, so I am a little worried. They love honey and crickets but don't seem to like protein jelly. Anything I should try to feed them? They also have had no deaths yet, and getting a lot of new workers

This colony has been doing ok. There was an escape but there are some ants coming out of there cocoons so they are replenishing, I also saw camponotus semitestaceus does anyone know when they fly?

I can't check now since I checked up on them yesterday but if my memory is correct around 20 with a lot of brood.

Nothing new has happened. The rest of the pupa eclosed and the worker force is slowly becoming higher like a Camponotus colony should. They don't like the fruit I have gave them cherry and a strawberry, but do like deli chicken.

This colony died. I checked up on them and the queen and all the workers but one were in the hallway leaving me with just one colony.  :( .
