Have sub-forums in "General", "Anting", and "Ant Keeping" that are specifically meant for asking questions? These should function like the "Ant ID Requests" forum does, by having the option to mark a thread answered by selecting the best user answer?

I'm not sure about separate sub-forums, but a general forum mod for either a single or multiple users to be able to select a "best answer" would be helpful.

The Members Classifieds has a sub-forum- to anyone that does not know how those look or work.

But not every thread should be answerable. Should my "7-09-14 Desert Anting Trip" thread be answerable? If anything, then there should be two options- "Start New Thread" and "Ask New Question". :D

A sub-forum would be helpful to keep things neat so that all the questions don't get mixed in with all the actual discussions.

But a lot of questions turn into discussions. I don't really see a difference between the posts you're talking about other than a question mark.

Do these other subforums not have the best answer option available like the ID Request subforum does?

What would happen if the feature was enabled across all boards?

There should be normal threads and question threads then, as I stated above.

I enabled the "Best Answer" option on all subforums except Journals and Classifieds.
