Sweet. You think they’ll still fly in huge numbers tomorrow?

Went on a walk with my dad just now not thinking I’d find anything but I caught 5. This might seem like rookie numbers to all you guys but for me this gives me the equivalent joy of the amount of queens you guys catch lol

Hey guys, just a tip: if you wanna save a queen ant that has been sprayed with formic acid and looks like it’s in the process of dying, pour drops of water on it. The water will dilute the acid, and the queen will make a recovery.

Interesting idea, Prenos will definitely fly tomorrow, it’s been raining ever so lightly so Camponotus might also fly tomorrow or, Monday.

Nowhere close to an inch of rain, that's a lot of rain.

I’m actually out looking right now. I don’t know if I’ll find any Camponotus cause I walked like an hour to get to this place that I’ve never been to before, and if I stay out to late too late to look for them then my dad’ll be like get back here before mountain lions come out lol

Yeah, I think I saw a Camponotus queen in the pool but I lost it while fishing it out.

Did they fly last night? Or at dawn?
