Please do not make topics like this at random. If you want to say something like this, say it on chat or something. The forum itself is supposed to be a more formal environment. Furthermore, this is in the wrong subforum.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

This is a useless and unnecessary topic. What do you expect us to do, revive your ant?

*About.  Also, just don't post unnecessary topics.  If you're gonna talk about it, maybe instead add along with it "What can I do better next time" or something similar so it's not just a random update in a new thread.

Did you have it in a bag lol? If you don't have any test tubes you could put em in a salsa or deli cup or even an empty water bottle. You should also try to catch more then 1 cuz sometimes they just die off randomly even if conditions are good.
