Basically my Camponotus colony has 7 workers should i start giving my ant colony protein? If not when should i ? Also,will camponotus ants accept fish food as protein source?

yes you should and no to fish food i use mealworms and fruitflys for my colony

They actually will take fish food if it is moistened.
