So I go so dirt for a formicarium and froze it to make sure it was mite free. Now I want to put in springtales and isopods coming from my mom's compost bin. Will the dirt from the compost bin and isopods be mite free?

I know compost will almost always have some form of mites in it. Now whether or not these mites will have any negitive impact on the ants I have no clue. Not all Mites are bad [some will be beneficial, and eat rotting matter]
