The planted terrarium that AntsCanada built for his Golden Empire colony comes to mind, but a super mini version in a small acrylic box

Hollow out a small tree that can fit inside your house, fill the inside with dirt, lay it horizontally and hang it all from the ceiling so that it does not touch the ground.

 

or maybe just a setup that has some plants in it.  Either work
