I found this extra small colony living on the side of a Leptomyrmex mound. There was hardly an egg to be seen and the very few workers were pale and translucent.
The queen is 12mm and the workers are 7mm. I've taken a stab at identifying them as Camponotus humilior but I could easily be wrong.
Location: South East Queensland
Nest: Clay soil, small bulge at the base of a large Leptomyrmex mound.
