Hi guys, I don't usually use this forum to advertise our work but thought you might be interested in our latest project that will be launching before the end of the month.

It's essentialy a database of peer published ant and queen locations. We're hoping it will assist people to find their own queens.

You can checkout our preview here;

Thanks Alabama Anter, we're hoping the purpose built platform that we've developed from scratch, along with a simple to use GUI will appeal to ant keepers.

I've considered making an app for something similar, maybe including a breadcrumb feature so you don't get lost in the woods.

We've started development on an app version of the website that will include specific features that utilise the GPS features in a smart phone. I can't reveal more than that at this stage sorry, but we're pretty excited at the possibilities it will offer ant keepers.

No, Thank you guys!

This is something i've been wanting to see for some time now. Something like this could be a game changer for people who enjoy collecting different species, and for new hobbyist as well. This is going to make things a lot more fun IMO. I've already been marking my own map with the locations of different species and whether or not i've been successful in the area so this will really help, especially if you can make it an app.

Really looking forward to see this roll out.
