After doing some research and a topic on this forum, I have found that it's legal to take ants out of national forests, as long as it is not for research or commercial purposes.. Is this the same for wilderness areas, or are more similar to national parks? Thanks in advance.

Note: There is a wilderness area in Indiana, here's a link as to its location: http://www.wilderness.net/map.cfm

Perhaps some of the members from the western U.S. could chime in? Also, the wilderness area is called the Charles C. Deam  wilderness. Here's a better link as well.

I found some information from here, but not too much.
