Hi from Jack

 

Well not actually, Jack is my son who has become interested in keeping Ants. I'm keen to make sure he does this as well as possible and so have joined a number of forums to ask those silly questions on his behalf. This site got recommended to me so look forward to learning and contributing where possible.

That's what I've been told and seen. Tried to sign up a little while ago but couldn't seem to join, didn't get an e-mail confirmation. Just came back to try again and found I could post. So all's well that ends well.

P.S. If your into ant keeping yourself and just using your son as an excuse to be here, no need. Ant keeping is for adults just as much as it is for kids. Joking XD

Yes finally made it. I'll post Jack's VBlog tomorrow if I get time and can work out how to do it   . At the moment reading through the post picking up bits of info for Jack.

Well, no worries, this is a great community. He will not be coming across any inappropriate content or posts here. It's just a good, clean, fun, forum here with great members. However it might be handy just to put in his users profile that he is only 10 so people know he is only a kid. Also if you don't mind my asking, what forum are you speaking of with the inappropiate posts?

Most things here are appropriate for children. In fact Most of us are under 18! If you want to avoid inappropriate content for Jack, I suggest you avoid the chat. No one actually talks about ants seriously in there

Chat is really a place with little rules. Just tell him to stay away from that unless it's okay with you . Other than that there are many younger people here, like me, canadian anter, and TC

Welcome.   Sometimes people don't get the validation emails, but once I see that a new account looks legit, I manually validate it. That's probably what happened.
