Ant or Termite ID? St Pete, FL - 11/06/2016

Hello, I need help trying to figure out if this would be an ant or termite that I found on my bedroom wall last night (11/06/16)...

1. Located in my home in St Petersburg FL on plaster wall.

2. Colected 11/06/16

3. House is on crawl space above sand, mature landscaping around perimeter of property.

4. Length is 7/16 inch, excluding antennae

5. Dark brown in color, dark wings

6. Straight antennae

9. I've posted a photo in pdf form below (site wouldn't allow me to post jpg, png for some reason).

Hi, JPG. files do work on this site... not sure what your troubles were? But no big deal. That's not a queen ant! A termite of some sort I don't now?

Not an ant. Notice the antennae are straight.

Definitely not an ant. I think it might be a Coptotermes termite alate, not 100% sure though.

Hmm I get similar looking flying insects here in Central Ca. I'm not sure what they are. But they're very aware of their surroundings. They run around looking at things and are quite inquisitive.

am I the only one who sees those winged termites around socal? They are everywhere!

Yeah. I only found termite alates once during a nuptial flight in a rainstorm, and by then they were all almost dead.

Hymenoptera is a MASSIVE insect order with over 200000 species. That thing may be pretty much everything.
