Feeding wild insects

Would it be safe to feed my colonies wasps that i catch from outside and then freeze?

Good question because I'm assuming you're having them all over just as badly as I am... 

 

EDIT: Those that are outside I leave alone on my sunflower plants. ...but the one that was inside my garage last night..he got captured and freezed.  I'm planning on giving the test tube tetras the headless wasp when it has dethawed some after work today.
