Before, I explain to you how my ants looked like, I want to explain how I managed to find two ant queens. I was cleaning the patio when suddenly I saw a lot of ants crawling on the floor fast and I saw a lot of ants. Thankfully, I even spotted alates. One might be a male but it might not be because it's the same size as an ant that looks like a queen without its wings.
Title:
1. Location of collection Hialeah, FL. (U.S.A.)
2. 6/23/2016
Body:
1. She was on my patio. The source of their evacuation was coming from a hole that was under the tiles behind metal cabinets on my patio.
2. 6/23/2016 (more important for ID's of queens).
3. She was on my patio, again. I found them behind a cabinet made out of metal coming out from a tile from under the tiles.
4. (This is an educated guess) About 1/8 of an inch.
5. Her gaster is black with light greenish lines on them.
6. Distinguishing characteristics The ants that were running with her running at a very fast speed. Possibly because they do that when their whole nest is migrating to another location. The tip of her gaster is kind of sharp.
7. They run really fast when they freak out.
8. Under a tile on my patio, again.
