Looks very similar to the Camponotus decipiens queen I collected recently.

Glad I came across this thread. Yen_saw, you gave me the species name for one of my queens. dspdrew identified her as a Camponotus but didn't know the species. And searching for more info on decipiens I found your post where yours was ID'd. In the future I'll do a search for Texas in the ID forum!
