2015 was the year of the ant simulators. Now in 2016 my own creation is finished: The Antplosion Simulator 2016. Simulates an ant population explosion of 1000 ants. Click on the nest entrance for additional Boom!

PS: don't take me seriously 
Update:
Now the colony will grow not that fast and you have to feed the ants (by clicking on the ground). Growth rate will increase with colony's size.

Heh pretty cool!
Thanks, but it was just a test how many ants pixi.js can render.
Now ants grow slower and you have to feed them with flies and cockroaches. Growth rate increases with colony size.

Currently there is no limit but performance will become bad depending on your device.
