Miller you are really making it hard for me to actually save money, my spending finger is itching real hard. Gotta ask, how about the backsplash, is phantom white the one supplied or is it possible to switch?

User preference, as always.  I think the only color I don't have in stock for this size is the Kiwi Green.

 

If you or anyone wants to see a particular color combination, just ask.

I'm looking at this now on your site. I want the large 7.5 inch setup.

Are both the housing and the outworld 7.5 inch? So they would total 15 inches long? The outworld would be the same length as the housing if I ordered large correct?

The foraging area itself is 7.9 inches, and the nest is about 4 inches long (as much space as the Ants Canada Hybrid Nest "Small").  The total length is about 12 inches or 30 cm.  

 

The nest size is fixed and does not change depending on which foraging area you order.  The nest accommodates up to 1,000 small ants, or a few hundred larger ants, which is a good size for a young colony, as seen here:

 

 

Larger foraging areas help contain larger colonies as they demand more and more food.

 

I'd also like to mention that Large Desert foraging areas are ready to ship.  A Large Woodlands or Beach would require a few days to make.

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and get it. How much more for the larger nest?

Only one size of nest is available.

 

Because the nest is detachable, if a larger nest becomes available in the future, you may easily relocate the colony by attaching to the back ports of the foraging area, and then swapping the original nest for a larger one.

Yes, the one pictured in this thread sold already.  Since you ordered a Woodlands model, it will take a few days to make.

 

If you prefer not to wait, I can take pictures of a few of the Desert ones I have available to ship immediately and you can decide if you want any of them.
