There seems to be something wrong with the chat and we're currently working on getting it fixed.

Apparently our license expired, so until we get this renewed the chat will not be working. In the mean time if you want, you can go to http://webchat.freenode.net and enter in ##myrmecology for the channel and chat there.

Do we have an idea on how long it will take to re-new it?

I am assuming a day or so, but I could be completely off my rocker.

Well I'm just waiting for Bigb to show up, because he's the only one who can renew the license. I'm not sure how much it will cost. Maybe I should come up with some way for people to donate if they want to help out a little bit.

Could we have a silent auction for a formicarium and the money goes to the forum?  I could donate a nest as long as the shipping is paid.

 

I have a nest I made meant for founding queens and/or young colonies, and it is just sitting in a drawer unused.  It was designed for Camponotus, which should be flying shortly, but it would work for most species.

That would be cool. I don't think the renewal is a whole lot, so just a few dollars from a few people would cover a good portion of it I'm sure. Regardless, I'm gonna pay for it myself as soon as I get the chance.
