I haven't seen very many journals for this species so I decided to take on the challenge my self.
I hope this journal is helpful for anyone who want to keep this species.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask, though I can't guaranty that I'll have the answers.
So I just received my colony today from Buckeye Myrmecology and they have two workers, two large larvae, and three small larvae.
I immediately moved them into a mini hearth that I got from from Tar Heel Ants, and they seemed to except it ferly quickly.
They where in the male for over a weak so I assumed that they where pretty hungry, I gave them some sunburst and they loved it.
It was so cool to see them feed each other through trophallaxis, I've kept other ants like Tetramorium Immigrans, but they are very small ants so it's hard to see what they're really doing, I was very exited to see them do this.
I will post pictures later when I get the chance to upload them.
